Director and founder

Margareth Meulmeester was born in Enschede in 1958 and currently resides in Warmond, the Netherlands. She has been a visual artist and painter since 1996 and is the founder of the foundation. Between 1978 and 1991 she worked as a kindergarten teacher at various schools in Enschede.

Ernst Faber was born in 1946 and resides in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He is a former notary, has administrative experience in various Dutch and African organisations (both profit and nonprofit) and has been closely involved with the creation of the artchild Foundation.

Drs. Willem Heemskerk ( Chairman of The Flower Parade) was born 1960 and has been employed by Rabobank organization since 1980. Current Job Manager Business Support. Experience in both Private and Business Services, but also within a number of socially responsible functions in the area of Politics, Elderly Care, Education and Entrepreneurship. Frequently engaged in the developments that are taking place in the Bollenstreek region, helping different parties connect.

Since november 2016 there is a close collaboration between artchild Foundation and Stichting Syrische Vrouwen Nederland Initially this resulted in the project Happy Painter.

Drs. Luc Schouten was born in Middelburg in 1945 and currently resides in Warmond, the Netherlands. He is the director and one of the co-owners of MCS Arbo, a health and safety at work service provider. He holds a Master of Business Administration and has extensive administrative experience in various Dutch organisations. He is visionary.

Board members receive no remuneration. Remuneration does not constitute a non-excessive fee determined by the board for the costs incurred for the foundation. All fees paid to board members are included in the annual accounts of the foundation as such and explained.
